We can’t wait to welcome you all to the TEDx community

TEDxCaryWomen Attendees:

Please read our registration policies

Thank you for your support!

There will be no ticket sales at the door and tickets are non-refundable

Registration Policies – We kindly ask attendees of TEDxCaryWomen to abide by our registration policies:

Community fit: To maintain the spirit of the TEDx community, we welcome attendees who contribute to the conversations and connections at the conference, and the projects that may come out of it.

Attendance: So that everyone can fully benefit from the experience of connecting with other attendees, and so that our speakers and performers have the benefit of a full audience, we ask that you stay for the duration of the event.

Documentation: The event will be filmed and photographed by the TEDxCaryWomen team. Attendees may appear in video or photo documentation on social media and other outlets.  By purchasing your ticket and entering the theater and event spaces, attendees understand their image may be captured in event photographs.

During the talks: Our speakers have done their absolute best to craft their ideas worth spreading to present on the global TEDx stage. If a speaker needs a moment to re-gather or remember parts of their talk, please be generous and cheer them on! We also ask that you enter and exit the theatre only between talks, and not during a talk unless it is an emergency.

Power off all smartphones/screens in the theater. The theater is designed for 100% focus on the stage. Once you’re inside, kindly switch off your phones, tablets and laptops. No texting, no video or photography (even without flash). It’s just too distracting both to you and to others.

Code of conduct: Those attending TEDx events understand that they do so in a spirit of curiosity, open-mindedness, respect and tolerance. They also understand that the atmosphere is appropriate for high-level relationship building, not salesmanship. Attendees agree not to use TEDxCaryWomen attendance to aggressively pitch their company, organization, products or services to other attendees. TEDxCaryWomen is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. TEDxCaryWomen reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to sanction or expel, without a refund, conference participants who violate these rules.

All questions regarding attendee behavior or any reports should be sent to tedxcarywomen@gmail.com. Please include all details and contact information so that we can respond accordingly.

Babies and children (under 13 years): For the optimum experience of all, everyone at the event needs to be a registered conference attendee. Children over age 13 are welcome to attend with a ticket along with a ticketed adult.

Please contact event organizers at tedxcarywomen@gmail.com with any questions.
